On the 12th of July the IHRG held a small event to commemorate 60 years since the withdrawal of the legendary Drumm Battery Trains from service. The day consisted of a trip on the LUAS Green Line from Harcourt Street to Sandyford, retracing as closely as possible the route worked by the Drumm railcars for many years. Afterwards, the group retired to the Odeon Bar on Harcourt Street to toast Dr. Drumm and his groundbreaking form of motive power.
